The 2017 Provincial Karate Championships will be held this December 2-3rd, 2017, at the Richmond Olympic Oval in Richmond, BC. This provincial event brings together athletes from across the province and expects to draw large crowds as the province’s best talent takes to the rings.

Registration Notes:
- Club instructors may register a club team along with 3 coaches, or athletes may register individually if their club
has not organized a team. - Payment is made through the online registration sytem, or by cheque.
Cheques MUST be received by the registration deadline for the entry to become active. - Registration Deadline:
November 17th, 2017! Extended through November 22, 2017! - No check-in: Athletes/coaches are required to confirm their events via Karate BC website and report any errors to their Zone Rep. immediately!

Weigh-In (Elite Divisions Only):
All competitors in Elite divisions at the Karate BC Provincial Championships, in all age categories (12yrs to Seniors) are required to weigh-in before your competition. All weigh-ins will be done at the Richmond Olympic Oval. Weigh-in times are:
- Saturday December 2nd: 3:00pm – 6:00pm (After this time period the coaches will do weigh-in when they have time)
- Sunday December 3rd: 8:00am – 9:00am
This is only for elite athletes participating in Kumite on Sunday, December 3rd, at the Provincials. There will be no weigh-in for non-elite athletes.

Where to Stay:
The official Host Hotel for the 2017 Provincial Karate Championships is again the beautiful Sheraton Vancouver Airport.
Reservations for your stay can be made by either clicking on this link BOOK YOUR ROOM HERE, or by calling the Sheraton Vancouver Airport Hotel directly on 1-800-663-0299. To ensure you receive the special rate of $159/night; you must identify yourself as a guest attending the “Karate BC Provincial Championships 2017”. Please be aware that reservations must be made no later than 9-Nov-2017. After this date, reservations can be made on an availability basis and at the best available rate.
In the event of cancellation, you must call the hotel no later than 48 hours prior to the day of arrival, otherwise a cancellation fee of one nights’ room and tax will be charged.
