Position: BC Team Director (formerly head coach & manager)
Open to applications: Monday, July 6 to Monday, July 20, 2020
Details
- 3yr contract in order to develop long-term continuity (August 2020 to July 2023)
- Yearly performance evaluation post-Nationals
- Attends: Provincials, Selections, Team Camps, Nationals, Canada Open
- Honorarium: $5000 to $7500 annual depending on qualifications, plus travel expenses
Qualifications
- NCCP Comp-Dev certified, or can achieve certification by December 2020
- High-performance coaching experience
- Staff management experience, detail oriented, excellent communication skills, capable of effective pre-event planning & event supervision
Duties
- Performs BC Team gap analysis from year to year & produces annual YTP plan
- Supervision & direction of program from communication to staff management
- BC Team registration and Nationals registration
- Team budget supervision, team reporting and coordination with HP committee, HP coordinator & KBC
- BC Team event coaching staff selection with HPC, then supervision & guidance
