IMPORTANT NOTE: Karate BC membership fees have not changed since 2015. Due to overall increased costs and inflation, there will be a slight increase taking effect with the 2024/25 season. As well, club registration fees will be reinstated to pre-pandemic fees of $175/year.
- Karate BC’s membership year runs from September 1st to August 31st of the following year.
- Membership fee discounts will no longer be offered due to increased costs in insurance, Karate Canada membership fees, etc.

Refunds
As noted in section 5.4.3 of our Financial Management Policy, an individual membership fee paid directly to Karate BC will be reimbursed if the request is made to Karate BC in writing no later than 10 days after the date that the membership fee was received by Karate BC, minus a 10% administrative fee for processing. The reimbursement will be paid within 30 days of the written notice of cancellation received from the member. Immediately upon reimbursement of the fee, the member is no longer eligible to access any Karate BC or member club programming or activities or receive services. There is no reimbursement of individual fees after the 10-day request period for reimbursement has expired.
