The 2023 BC Winter Games will be held March 23-26 in Vernon. We are seeking both Senior and Junior Karate Officials (Ages 14-18) for the games. (Officials who previously registered for the postponed 2022 games, and have verified their availability, are already registered for this event.)
For Junior Officials (14-18), no previous certification as a Karate BC Official is required prior to application. Junior Officials will be required to participate in an on-line Officials Clinic prior to the games and to participate in a practical session in Vernon on the first day prior to the competition.
Junior Officials travel with their Zone Team, stay in shared team accommodations with their Zone Coaches and Athletes under the supervision of the Zone Coaches. During the competition hours Junior Officials are under the supervision of the Senior Officials.
