What Clubs Can Become Members of Karate BC?
Karate BC membership is available to any karate club (offering instruction in a recognized karate style) operating within the province of BC. If your club offers multiple martial art forms for instruction, Karate BC is only able to insure those individuals training or competing in karate within the club.
Clubs may operate within a public facility (such as a Community Centre).
Why Be A Member?
Karate BC supports the development of karate in British Columbia and provides its members with Sport B.C. legitimacy and many other benefits. It is through membership that Karate BC is able to continue the growth and development of karate from recreational fun, fitness and participation programs to World and Olympic levels of achievement. To achieve this, Karate BC strives to provide programs and services that benefit all of our members.

What Do We Need To Do Once We Are A Member Club?
Once you have registered your club with Karate BC, you then need to make sure to have each of the members within your club register with us.
This can be as simple as sending them to our “New Member” registration page HERE, or we can send you a pre-formatted email template that you can send out to each of your members to help them sign up. You can also step through the registration process with them on your own computer, tablet, or smart phone within your club. You are able to repeat this process throughout the membership year WHENEVER a new member of your club begins training at your club.
As your members register with us, you will receive email notifications letting you know that they have registered.
