Dojo Instructor

The Dojo Instructor course is a 2-day workshop that is designed for anyone instructing in the dojo. The course will take participants through various modules that cover teaching and learning styles, planning a practice, creating an Emergency Action Plan (EAP) and analyzing performance. This course also includes the Make Ethical Decisions training module, a module that the Coaching Association of Canada (CAC) requires all instructors and coaches to complete.

Dojo Instructor Trained

• Have completed the Dojo Instructor 2-day workshop
• Have completed the Make Ethical Decisions training module

Dojo Instructor Certified

• Have completed the Dojo Instructor workshop
• Have successfully completed tasks 1-4 of coach portfolio
• Have successfully completed Dojo Instructor evaluation
• Have completed the Make Ethical Decisions online evaluation for Instruction-Beginner

Or

• Are previously Level 1 Certified or Level 2 Certified
• Have completed the Make Ethical Decisions online evaluation for Instruction-Beginner

Or

• Have successfully completed the Competition Coach portfolio and evaluation
• Have completed the Make Ethical Decisions online evaluation for Instruction-Beginner
