Dojo Instructor
The Dojo Instructor course is a 2-day workshop that is designed for anyone instructing in the dojo. The course will take participants through various modules that cover teaching and learning styles, planning a practice, creating an Emergency Action Plan (EAP) and analyzing performance. This course also includes the Make Ethical Decisions training module, a module that the Coaching Association of Canada (CAC) requires all instructors and coaches to complete.
Dojo Instructor Trained
- Have completed the Dojo Instructor 2-day workshop
- Have completed the Make Ethical Decisions training module
Dojo Instructor Certified
- Have completed the Dojo Instructor workshop
- Have successfully completed tasks 1-4 of coach portfolio
- Have successfully completed Dojo Instructor evaluation
- Have completed the Make Ethical Decisions online evaluation for Instruction-Beginner
Or
- Are previously Level 1 Certified or Level 2 Certified
- Have completed the Make Ethical Decisions online evaluation for Instruction-Beginner
Or
- Have successfully completed the Competition Coach portfolio and evaluation
- Have completed the Make Ethical Decisions online evaluation for Instruction-Beginner
