With around 4,000 members and approximately 130 clubs across British Columbia, you’ll be at the heart of a thriving community.
Position: Administrative Assistant
Status: Casual, Part-time
Hours:
- One-year contract with billable hours as required
- Potential to expand to a permanent part-time role
- Flexible remote work with minimal office hours

Key Responsibilities
Membership Management:
- Process new club applications and assist with online registrations
- Maintain Criminal Records Checks database
- Generate and report membership statistics to various agencies
- Keep online club directory and locator map current
- Provide insurance certificates to clubs through coordination with insurance company
Event Sanctioning and Equipment Rental:
- Process event sanctioning and insurance requests
- Update online event calendar
- Enter data in government reporting software
- Distribute event information when requested
- Coordinate shipping and return of tournament equipment
- Invoice and process payments of sanction and equipment rental fees
External Sport Credits:
- Handle requests for high school External Sport Credit letters, including BC Winter Games athletes
Committee Support:
- High-Performance Committee – Assist with BC Team administration alongside our BC Team Manager
- Marketing & Communications Committee – Support special projects such as anniversaries and merchandise sales
- Awards Committee – Help organize provincial tournament awards and annual athlete of the year nominations
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google products
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
Compensation: $20/hour (invoiced)
