On behalf of Karate BC’s High-Performance Committee, we are very pleased to announce that Toshi Uchiage will continue his role as BC Team Head Coach for the 2024-25 season.
“I am pleased to be back, to continue building on an athlete-centred culture we began last season. I am looking forward to continuing building the relationship with Karate BC, to ensure we have a strong commitment to the athletes, and their performances. We will build upon the lessons we learned last year and look to take that next step forward. It’s a great honour to be tasked with leading the charge towards the 2024 Karate Canada National Championships, and I am looking forward to laying the foundation down for the BC Team to continue to grow this season and beyond,” said Uchiage on his reappointment as the BC Team Head Coach.
“Karate BC staff, coaches, athletes, and parents, let’s get to work to claim our place on top of the provincial team standings at the National Championships,” added Uchiage.
