Karate BC welcomes a new Executive Director! After a thorough search involving several strong candidates, Karate BC is pleased to announce that they have successfully hired Larry Feagan as their new Executive Director.
Larry brings with him a wealth of accomplishments in non- profit sport and business operations. He is leaving a job he likes, as the Western Canadian Sales Manager for Subaru Canada, to start a career he loves, as the Executive Director of our Provincial Sports Organization. Triathlon BC, where he is the current Board Chair, has benefited from Larry’s ethical leadership and integrity for the past ten years.
Under his leadership, Triathlon BC has been successful in setting key objectives to increase philanthropic giving, grow their high- performance pool, and increase their membership base. His firm belief in inclusion and diversity initiatives led to a more accessible environment for all competitors in triathlon.
We feel that Larry will be a great asset to Karate BC with his strong background in strategic planning and business plans, his experience organizing and executing special events and competitions, and his budgetary skills optimizing resources and grants for both commercial and not-for-profit organizations. Under Larry’s leadership, we are confident that Karate BC will continue to grow and retain its position as a leader of karate in Canada.
