COURSE DESCRIPTION:
The NCCP Competition Introduction course is a 2-day workshop that is designed for instructors and coaches who wish to increase their knowledge in the competition stream. This course is also the minimum requirement for coaches to participate at Provincial Championships and BC Winter Games. The course will take participants through various modules that cover teaching and learning styles, analyzing performance, supporting the competitive experience, tournament formats, performance profiling, mental preparation and nutrition.
Participants who complete this course will be Coaches In-Training and may go on to complete Coach Certification. Contact Karate BC to learn more about the Instructor and Coach pathways in BC (coachdev@karatebc.org).

Cost: $157.50 including GST ($210.00 if printed materials are requested– HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!)
Minimum requirements of 16yrs old and brown belt to participate.
