This weekend (Saturday, April 9th) Karate BC will be offering an Official’s Certification Clinic in Kelowna at the Rodney Hobson Karate Academy. Interested in becoming a certified Regional or Provincial Judge or Referee, then see the course details below.

Cost:
To audit the clinic: $50 (seminar only)
If attempting:
Regional Judge: $ 70 (minimum: 3rd kyu, 14 yrs of age)
Regional Referee: $ 80 (minimum: 3rd kyu, 14 yrs of age)
Provincial Judge: $ 80 (minimum: 1st kyu, 14 yrs of age)
Provincial Referee: $105 (minimum: 1st kyu, 16 yrs of age)
Passport: $ 12 (prices include gst)

Notes:
- Those outside Zone 2 and/or anyone not seeking certification are welcome to attend.
- Wear comfortable clothing (track suit).
- Bring your Gi, your own copy of the newest version of the rules, your questions and expertise.
- The newest version of the WKF rules can be downloaded from the Karate BC website HERE
- Please familiarize yourself with these rules PRIOR to the clinic.
- Official’s passports are mandatory for all officials and will be available at the clinic.
