Dear Members,
The Karate BC Board would like to recognize Julie Zilber for her outstanding dedication and leadership as Chair of the High Performance Committee (HPC) over the past three years. Julie’s commitment has been instrumental in moving the HPC in a positive direction. Her willingness to put in incredible hours—going above and beyond—has made a lasting impact, and we are truly grateful for her efforts.
As Karate BC continues to grow, we are excited to announce that Julie will be transitioning to lead new grassroots initiatives as the Chair of our Grassroots Committee. With her strong background and expertise, Julie will spearhead programs that support the development of our sport at the community level, ensuring opportunities for all members.
We are also pleased to announce that Pam Ross has accepted the role of Interim Chair for the High Performance Committee. Pam’s achievements and extensive knowledge of high-performance karate will be invaluable in supporting and advancing our HP program, providing strong leadership to take it to the next level.
We extend our best wishes to both Julie and Pam in their new roles and encourage all members to join us in welcoming and supporting them as they continue to contribute to the growth and success of Karate BC.
