  • Seminar for Karate BC Members – Free
  • Seminar for Non Karate BC Members – $40
  • Certification Fee – $20
Minimum Requirements
  • Provincial Kobudo Judge C – 3rd Kyu, 14 yrs of age
  • Provincial Kobudo Judge B – 14 yrs of age, Kobudo practitioner – Perform one long weapon and one short weapon kata
  • Provincial Kobudo Judge A Certification: 16 yrs of age, Shodan in Kobudo – Perform two long weapon and two short weapon kata
Seminar Participant Instructions
  • An official’s uniform is not required for the clinic, casual wear
  • The clinic conductor will contact you to let you know when the exams will be completed and provide any required links
  • Please study the Karate BC Kobudo rules prior to the clinic

  • Karate gi for kata
  • Notebook/Pen and/or tablet/device
  • If attending in-person, bring water and/or snacks or lunch
  • Kobudo weapons to be used for your exam
Online Exam Completion Online exams are to be completed during the exam
