Karate BC, through our esteemed members of Zone 6, are pleased to be hosting an Officials Seminar on February 28th, 2021, as an online course. This course is open to all Karate BC members.
This online course is a seminar as well as preparation for judging the 2nd Pacific E-Championships on March 7, 2021.

Minimum Requirements:
- Karate BC Membership
- Provincial Judge C Certification: 3rd kyu, 14 yrs of age
- Provincial Judge B Certification: 3rd kyu, 14 yrs of age

Seminar Participant Instructions:
- A Zoom online conference link will be sent to registered participants.
- Bring Officials Manual, and notebook.
- Online officiating exams MUST be completed successfully (passing grade required) prior to attempting certification (contact course conductor for exam link).
- Kumite Examinations – Passing Grades:
- Provincial Judge B 85%
- Provincial Judge C 80%
- Kata Examinations – Passing Grades:
- Provincial Judge C 85%

- Completion of certification will occur after a successful practical certification test at the next tournament offering this test. The next opportunity for this will be at the 2nd Pacific E-Championships – March 7, 2021.
