It is that time of the year again! The Community Sport Hero Awards is a program that recognizes coaches, officials, mentors and administrators who have dedicated themselves to amateur sport at the community level. Since its inception in 2001, 50+ Provincial Sport Organizations have honoured more than 550 sport volunteers in 50+ communities.
Sport BC is asking you to nominate volunteers who have dedicated their time and efforts in providing opportunities of sport to all ages. They have selected four locations to host the 2015-2016 Community Sport Heroes: Terrace (November 23), Vernon (December 3), Port Alberni (January 11) and the Tri-Cities (February 19).
