In order to make your registration experience easier, we’ve put together an explanation on how to complete the online registration form that you will encounter when registering for your Karate BC Membership. If you still have questions after reading this, please don’t hesitate to contact us!
The following diagram represents the registration form that you will see when you click on the link to sign up with Karate BC as a “New Member”. If you are a “Renewing Member”, please check your email for a renewal email message, or contact us to have it sent again if you did not receive it.
Below the image are details about each of the sections of the form that may need explanation.

| A | If you are registering more than one person, this is where you would indicate the number of ADDITIONAL individuals that you will be registering. Once you select a number greater than zero, a new column of data will appear to the left of the form showing entries for each of the number of people that you intend on registering (see image below). For multiple members, you will complete the information for one and then click on the next "Blank Entry" field to begin completing the information for the next one, and repeat this until all members' information have been entered. |
| B | If you are a NEW member to Karate BC, you will NOT have a member number yet, so leave this blank. |
| C | Select your Karate BC member club from the drop-down list. Can't find your club in the list? Please contact us to let us know! |
| D | Select "yes" to opt-in to hearing about upcoming events and courses that are happening within Karate BC, as well as other interesting and important news! |
| E | Please enter your current "home" address here, not the address of your karate club. |
| F | The "Zone" field is auto-updated based on the address information you supplied, so there is no need to edit this form field. |
| G | Are you an Instructor or Coach either at a Karate BC member club or within Karate BC? If so, please complete the information within these fields. If not, then simply indicate such by the appropriate pull-down menu item. |
| H | Are you a certified Official within Karate BC? If so, please indicate your Officials level here. If not, simply choose, "Not Applicable". |
| I | If you are completing the information for a member that is under the age of 19, please complete the information within this section. |
| J | If this new member intends to compete in any tournaments this year, please select "Competitive", otherwise, select "Recreational". |
| K | This section is used to determine the correct type of membership for this member. Please review the options and select the correct items that apply. |
The following image shows what your registration form will look like if you are trying to register more than one individual. Complete the information for one member and then select the next member slot to complete the information for the next member. Once all of the members’ information has been entered, click the “Proceed to Step 2” button on the bottom of the page.
