Applications are now being accepted for the Vince Redfern Memorial Scholarships. Two awards of $500.00 each are presented yearly to a male and female karate athlete attending a post-secondary institute.
Criteria for selection:
- Applicants must be a Karate BC member in good standing, attending a University, College, or Technical Institute on a full-time basis. Applicants must have high academic standing, demonstrated leadership abilities, and performed well at Karate BC Tournaments.
- Applicants should submit a letter of application along with two letters of reference to the Awards Committee at Karate BC.
- The Karate BC Awards Committee will consider all applications and the successful applicants will be announced.
