Karate BC is excited to introduce our new Administrative Assistant, Caren Eigenmann. With over 25 years of experience as an Early Childhood Educator and owner/operator of a private business, Caren brings a wealth of knowledge in leadership, organization, and dedication to excellence. “I was honored and humbled to be the recipient of the Prime Minister’s Award of Excellence in Early Childhood Education in 2017, reflecting my commitment and passion for making a difference in the field of Early Childhood Education.”
Karate has been a significant part of her life for over 20 years. As a student and assistant teacher at local karate club, Caren has experienced firsthand the discipline, focus, and sense of community that karate provides. “The involvement I have with my current dojo gives me a unique perspective and understanding of the sport and its impact on our members.”
Outside of Caren’s professional life, she has been actively involved in her local church, where she coordinates activities and workshops for Sunday School teachers and children nationally across Canada. “These experiences have strengthened my ability to connect with people and manage various tasks efficiently. My skill set has developed drastically from both my volunteer experience and ownership of a private business. I am thrilled to apply my skills in managing daily operations, such as bookkeeping, budgeting, and effective communication, to support Karate BC’s mission. I hope to contribute to the growth and development of our organization and help foster an inclusive and thriving karate community.”
“I look forward to meeting and working with all of you. Thank you for welcoming me into the Karate BC family!”
Warm regards,
Caren Eigenmann
