Congratulations on your performance which has earned you a spot on the 2019 BC Team to compete at the National Championships in Edmonton, Alberta.
This email is a recap of the meeting held upon the completion of Team Training this weekend, and contains the following:

Instructors – new athlete contact list:
Instructors – please forward this email to all your BC Team athletes/parents as this is a new contact list and anyone who did not receive this original email should let me know so I can include them in all future communication.
Arrival/Departure and day-to-day information:
- BC Team athletes must arrive in Edmonton near noon of Wednesday May 1st. There will be a mandatory training in early afternoon so we want to ensure all athletes are settled and meet in the lobby prior to departing to training venue.
- All flights are the responsibility of the athlete and are booked yourselves.
- Coaches flights will be published in the coming week, if you want your athletes to fly with a coach you can book a matching flight.
- Any 12/13 yr old athletes must travel and stay with a parent at the host hotel.
- We will be using public rail (at a reduced cost of $10/athlete) to travel to/from the hotel/venues.
- General guide to this years Nationals includes:

- Weigh-in ~9am

- Any parents not staying with their athletes need to book their own rooms.
- The rate is: $135/night + hotel fees/taxes
- The athletes individual share will be divided amongst all staying in the room.
Payment Information:
- There will be two payments to come for the BC Team going to Nationals.
- Payment #1 – Tracksuit
- Tracksuits are mandatory, if you have one from last year you do not need to purchase an additional one.
- BC Team athletic shirt is optional
- Payment #2 – Nationals Fees
- This fee will include athletes share of hotel room, division cost ($125/division), team dinner & transit pass.
- You will be sent a trackie link to pay for each of these fees in due time.
